Ewwww... He's behind a lot of the most generic and unimaginative pop music that's being released. I think he is my nemesis. :p

Edit: About 20 minutes in. Does it get better? :p
edit2: yes it did. thnx for the share

watched 52 minutes in. omg how bad that unmixed remix he played sounded. the drums were all whack sounding haha.. im turning this off now, this is pretty basic stuff they're going through, and it's just embarrasing hearing the crowd idolize him like he's pioneering anything. oh yeah sure he's a front-runner for new sounds, which happened to be from edm about 4 or 5 fads ago. and they play the entire track while he wooshes around the screen showing the arrangement, and when it's over they ing clap, like they just heard the first performance, and not a radio hit that had it's run a year ago.

I'm almost as frustrated as I was after watching the in the studio with steve angello video from a few years back. Hopefully I can do like last time and turn that frustration into a sublime pumpin tech track.

Shouldn't you be in his place mario?

Would I rather be him or some noble pioneer on the breadline? Hmmmm.

Anonymity plus wealth ftw.

I think it's funny how the people in the audience are like baffled about elementary stuff like layering. What kind of people are they btw? For some reason, I thought they'd have at least somewhat of a foot in the business to bother attending such a symposium, but the questions they ask are abecedarian at most. Like that chick who asks how he did that repeat effect on that one track. Um, you can clearly hear it's the exact same strophe being repeated, so ya, I think he did do that, you know?

I guess my verdict is that this thing would be far more educational and entertaining to watch if the questions asked had been of a higher caliber.

this wasn't aimed at EDM producers. It was run by ASCAP.
