Im curious how the night went. It was a new venue and promoter right?
I had a friends housewarming and was unable to make it.

It was the same guys that threw the Howells jam at Moskito (Whitelabelpromo) I thought.
I couldn't attend last minute as I was busy preparing for a final exam, but from what I heard Luis delivered the goods.
hardcore trancer
I was there.:D The venue has great potentials and I can see some good bookings taking place there. The sounds was good enough for that space and lots of room to move around. Luis played a mellow set and didnt go too hard. There were lots of issues wit the sound system that night but other then that everything went well.:D Took a few vids from the night too. check it out:
Luis was a super nice guy and he was very excited to be in Toronto. :D
feelgood
thanks

I had a really good night! Music was excellent, and the crowd was fun. Cheap brew too. $7 for 500ml can of Steam whistle.
The sound system gave out just after 3am, and was out for good 15 mins which kinda sucked, but it happens. All in all am super glad I went.
lazy haze
I arrived around 11:30, was pretty empty. Tunes were pretty good, fairly laid back...good way to warm up just talking to my friends. The volume actually seemed to be turned down around 12:30 and some of my friends gave up and left, but it went right back up when Luis Junior started at 1 am...had a really good time until about 3am when the sound system crapped out.
Really killed the momentum, as it took a long time to get it going. My friend is an electrician and somehow got right in there, looking at the breakers and the amp rack. Apparently a cord came out and tripped a breaker, so two problems.
By the time the music came back on I felt out of my groove, and a lot of people had left. Didn't stay too long after that.
Pretty cool venue, was nice to go somewhere new. When the sound system was on it actually sounded quite good, especially considering it was portable.
