Don't you live in an apartment though? |
I do, but I have a large living room with ample room for a nice setup, and I just got a new 55' LED tv to go with it. |

Whoa, must be a huge room to fit a 55 foot TV in there :wtf:

Well my apartment is the first floor of a house, so it's not small.
Edit: Oh. |

| While I was looking at stuff at Best Buy I checked out the Sharp 90" Aquos. That thing is ridiculous. $10,000 too. |

I should've thrown some Shaw bate into this thread and said that I really wanted a Bose system because they make the best home audio that money can buy. |
My next set probably will have Teufel speakers. But first my 10 years old 32" Philips Matchline tv (DD, 220W, 9 speakers) needs to die, so I can send my Pioneer set (ing 20 years old) with sound field processor and additional B&W speakers into retirement, as I'm meanwhile convinced it's never going to die. |

| I debated the Bowers & Wilkins front speakers, but after listening to them I liked the MartinLogan better. The B&W is supposed to be unmatched in terms of clarity, but they just didn't have the same power that MartinLogan had. That and they were more expensive. :p |

You clearly don't know what you're talking about and aren't contributing anything to this thread. Please stop posting in it. The receiver they had in the store setup wasn't a Pioneer receiver, and was about $1,500 by itself, so your argument is retarded. Even with the best receiver they had, MartinLogan still sounded better to me than B&W, but my gut feeling is that you've never heard either one, and are just trying to act like you know something which you really don't.
A 770W Pioneer receiver is more than enough to bring out the full "goodness" in a B&W system. |
