Another half-assed track that's "semi-done". Just looking for technical feedback from a production standpoint. Done on Ableton with some VSTs + samples.
I know it doesn't really have a reasonable "build point", and it also needs some more mixing and automation. Still working on learning all of this writing music jank.
Thanks! |

You're going all Scuba, aren't you :p
But great stuff. I genuinly like this, which is not something I can say about most amateur productions I hear. You have a certain idiosyncrasy that's incredibly rare among amateuer producers. Most people just make mediocre carbon copies of tried formulas (see: the production forum)
As usual I am no help for technical but I think you should change the drum pattern before 1:00. After that it's great (who doesn't love claps?). Also, I'd try a different melody after 2:00 (or none at all?) |

| Thank you, man, I really appreciate it. I don't really have anyone outside of the internet to talk to about this stuff, so I generally do stuff like this within a sort of vacuum. Which may be a good or bad thing, I dunno. |
