Hi Everyone,
I'm visiting Montreal this weekend for the first time since 12 years old now 30, with the girlfriend and would like some idea's on how to spend it. I'll be arriving Saturday morning and taking off back home on Monday. Saturday we plan to party, so whats the best Dance clubs to hit up. We're both into Electronica music and enjoys DJ's like Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, Above and Beyond, etc, etc.
Also any good Site seeing spots or recommendations, we have a tentative itinerary setup but down for anything. |

Are you looking for something that plays more commercial/mainstream music or one that plays more obscure/underground music.
Or, as I like to put it, do you want to go to a club to hear music you know, or to hear music you don't know.
For the latter, there's Circus and Stereo for afterhours (no alcohol, 2 am - 10 am), both are world class clubs.
For 10 pm - 3 am, there's Le Salon Daome, Peopl., Le Bleury Bar a Vinyle, Passeport, and a few others I'm probably forgetting. |

Be sure to check out Circus :)
Tonight we are doing a techno/tech-trance/tech house showcase of some of our local djs. :)
and tomorrow it's house music with Étienne Ozborne, Uppercut and Hugo Turenne. Club is gonna be packed !!!

There's Morgan Page tonight @ New City Gas. The venue is worth checking out :) |

| Roger Sanchez is playing at Stereo tonight...I'd recommend go seeing him based on your likes of music, you'll see a mix of older house heads and girls I think it's a pretty good introduction to the club, what it's about and the overall vibe. He's thrown some great parties there way in the past. Generally his sound is commerical, rather cheesey, but enjoys playing Stereo and really adapts his sound for the venue quiet well. Gets darker, harder, etc. A good mix of various genres of House. My two cents. Enjoy your stay |

We ended up going to Morgan page @ New City Gas, great recommendation! We had a blast, awesome venue, great vibe, great set by Page and danced the whole night away!
Now its Sunday night, does Montreal party on Sunday nights?? :crazy: |
