It could have been a lot worse. I was expecting much worse given the type of sound he's been supporting at his shows (his GDJB is still pretty good, but his live sets are beginning to lack). The last part of the track was terrible though.
I really enjoed his ASOT 350 set in Belgium. Have an Oslo Nights cd of his too which I loved. Someone uploaded an old set of his from Oslo Nights earlier this year on TA. Think it was from 2003 or 2004.
He's still the best DJ out there in terms of banging out marathon sets and dropping lesser known tracks. (When compared to the big superstar Trance/Trouse/Commercial DJ's anyways). I seen his Privilege Solo Set in Ibiza this summer and towards the last 2.5 hours, he was dropping some different prog & techy tracks. Ended up being my favourite set I got to see this year so I'll thank him for that.

yup! well said.
he may throw in stuff to cater to the mainstream, but when need be, he still plays a lot of stuff other superstar dj's don't play.

this set is completely crazy! PLEASE, ANYONE, MORE SETS OF THIS YEAR (2001~2007)... this guy was a genius!
I wish I could give you more sets like these but frankly I dont have any others. If anyone else has some gems from Markus' days between 01-07, please do share. Loved the energy in the ASOT 350 set. Proper way to close the night off.
I wish I was attending his 13 hour NYE set in LA. For a trance dj, 13 hours is literally unheard of and to be taken on such a journey by Markus....i dont even wanna imagine how nutty that would be.
