Bleeding Channels on Vestax Mixer
View this Thread in Original format

I have a 2 year old 4 channel vestax mixer VMC004
I just noticed that all the channels are bleeding into the both of the master outputs

I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before
Was wondering what might cause this
Is it common for vestax mixer?

x fader needs to be replaced.

Does it happen when the xfader is say full A and all the channels are B with faders down. Faders up. Try all possible permutations and i'm sure you will isolate the issue.

what I did is, closed all the channels (all 4 faders are on the zero)
none of then is assigned to the cross fader
I hear the bleeding from all of them through both of the masters

Its seems to me not a fader issue, but more the board

is the amount of bleed relative to the gain ?

Also, does the bleed happen only on the master out. What about the monitor out.

didn't test this, but boosting the master will boost the bleed
