Axwell, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia would like to invite you to attend an intimate Black Tie Rave on February 28th 2013 in a town that’s played a huge role in their career – New York City. As the band roll in to play sold Madison Square Garden and 3 Barclay Centre shows, this unprecedented intimate affair will see New York’s finest come out to raise money for the after math of Hurricane Sandy. All profits raised will go directly to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City & the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. The tickets will be put into three unique 72 hour auction processes.

Auction 1 with one third of the tickets in it starts Dec 14th 2012 at 10AM EST. Ticket links will appear on this site beforehand and will of course
be listed on Facebook and Twitter.

This Rave is not for the feint hearted. Dress Code is strict. Black Tie and Ball Gowns. So whether you buy something new, vintage or just go and borrow something…if you fail to turn up in Black Tie or Gown we may still turn you away!

There will be plenty of other items up for auction as we approach the event and ways to upgrade your evening still further! This event is for over 21’s and some of the alcohol sales in the venue will also go to the charities. Naturally the band are receiving no fee, our crew will be working for free, there will be no free guest list and most of our suppliers are already committing to free or at cost supplies…all of which will be named and thanked on this web site as we get closer to the show.

So... New York City.
SHALL WE DANCE?

I wish I could go up to the owners of my company and say "December will be my last month working with you guys" and suddenly I'm getting bonuses and raises left and right

January comes, "Teeeheeee i was just kidding about leaving you guys."

i think it's pretty cool that this is a charity show for hurricane relief.

More importantly, black tie rave? :conf: :stongue:

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person here who is actaully looking forward to buying their first Tuxedo, but I dunno about SHM's demographic. Will this look like a prom?
Silver vests, :shudder:

It says they're not getting paid to do this... and it's technically before they "retire."

I know they're gonna milk a reunion tour at some point, but I don't have any gripes with this party. Let them "rave" (lol) in peace.

I was referring to the retirement/breaking up thing.

I will give them respect for doing this for charity.
