What I like most about our Anal Sex laws (section 159 of the Criminal Code in case anyone cares) is that Anal Sex is legal if between two persons over 18 BUT if there is a third person in the room it is then illegal. Seriously, why the distinction? |

Sodomy laws in general are just stupid. Luckily most states in the US have totally rid themselves of them...
A lot used to take the most broad definition of sodomy as well, oral sex was considered sodomy in a number of states (read the south). |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it says it's illegal if 'more than two persons are in the room'. Thus preventing those pesky free-for-all gay romps to pop up everywhere. I don't know if you're aware of this, but it was a pretty big problem back in the 60's. |

The exact verbiage is:
159. (1) Every person who engages in an act of anal intercourse is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to any act engaged in, in private, between
(a) husband and wife, or
(b) any two persons, each of whom is eighteen years of age or more,
both of whom consent to the act.
(3) For the purposes of subsection (2),
(a) an act shall be deemed not to have been engaged in in private if it is engaged in in a public place or if more than two persons take part or are present; and...
So if the intent was to prevent gay orgies in parks then they really only needed the whole "in a public place" part... the inclusion of the latter part is clearly to prevent group sex. I'm not sure why it's okay for me to my wife in the ass on my coffee table but if we invite the neighbours over to watch then I should go to prison. |

Laws
Let's see how long humans will give a about age of conscent when society eventually falls. No, this ain't "the end is near" (although, we're one psychopath away from finding out and there are quite a few psychopaths out there, some with access to some serious WMDs).
But, if humans were thrown back to the future of total anarchy? You bet your ass no orifice of any vintage, color or origin is safe from a determined jizz shooter. Yes, even your grandma. |
