With the closing of Cream earlier this week the effect of a good club closing has hit closer to home. I live in Houston, Tx and there isnt a whole lot of clubs in which one can escape the commercial cheese trance that surrounds all of us, but there is one, Hyperia. This club has been bringin class acts for numerous years, and now the ing city of houston is tryin to close it down because of the usual lame ass excuse of drugs. Number 1 one when wil the govt realize that people who take drugs take them on their own? clubs dont ing hand everyone a tab at the entrance. They need to focus more on trafficking and stoppin it from entering the U.S. or Houston for that matter if they really wanna do something. Why can't clubs exist in piece will they ever or will the GOVT. always be an when it comes to this issue.

matter of fact, most clubs are pretty tough on drugs, and do a full body search before letting people in.

Unfortunately you are high right and half wrong. Every club has drugs ie coke, weed, extascy, ghb. However, with the irresponsibility of some clubbers overdosing, we all have to suffer. Thats why governments are shutting down clubs that play the music we love. (r.i.p. Twilo) So unless people learn to be more responsible and take drugs in moderation or not at all, clubs are gonna continue to be shut down.

Some politicians seem not to care about it though :p
Here in Brasilia, people wanted to forbid rave parties because they said the music was just an excuse for abusive drug use :whip: |

Because government jobs are very, very boring, and as a result, the people who have them are perpetually bored. They figure, if they never have any fun, neither should anybody else.
