Sony MDR-xb400 Xtra Bass Headphones

Spotted these on sale recently, are there any better headphones I should consider in the ~$50 price range?
They are comfortable, tried them on in a shop, the sennheisers next to them were a lot less comfortable.
I got rid of my decks, these are just for using when chilling with some music/sets. |

Edit: Ooops, I own a pair of MDR-XB300, actually, not XB400. The reason I didn't buy a more expensive pair is because, given its low price, the sound is surprisingly good. And by good I mean bassful, if bassful happened to be a word. |

| Why wouldn't you want good clarity across? first two are open, last is closed for sound isolation. All hover around 60 bucks. Buy whatever you want, most people dont really care I guess. |

I'm super into my sr80i's, which I've had for about two years now. Don't use em alll that frequently - mostly just listening to music in bed |

| If you're listening to stuff at home, you shouldn't get headphones with the added gimmicks; rather, use headphone amps and EQs to boost d'at bass. |

I love my headphones, they were cheap, they were right in front of me when I saw them, and they're awesome. Besides, it's just music. |

Or the sony mdr 7506 which are the industry favorite. I think the v6 and 7506 are almost identical, if not completely identical |
