the persian takeover actually starts this weekend and will leave by tuesday the latest, long gone by the time Sharam hits the decks. |

because they don't celebrate Christmas but since they have time off from work they go party in Vegas. |

a lot of persian singers have concerts since they don't celebrate christmas.
ec twins are a huge hit in the community which is why they have 2 events this weekend.
i also don't think shahram is as popular in the community anymore, probably booked the following weekend for 'new years' weekend. |

shutting down NYE. All Palms venues are being changed/renovated/etc. in 2013. |

They're going to split it in half and create 2 different clubs.
IMHO it was the BEST CLUBBERS club in Las Vegas. Then the VIP crowd totally took over and the clubs adapted.

To clarify, most Persians don't celebrate Christmas because most Persians in LA/the US in general are Persian Jews who escaped Iran due to religious persecution. |
