1998-2012 What year was the best for music releases in your opinion?

I asked this on facebook but I am going to ask here too because I need more replies. This is mainly on trance but whatever genre you prefer is welcome as well.
Please pick ONE year that you feel is the best if you can. This is for a project I am working on and the winning year will determine the outcome of my project.
My vote would probably be 2003. |

haha excatly. why most of the germs are all over the place time wise,for me 2011 wins.
i fell in love with uplifting trance and even though i think its boom was on 2010 by 2011 there were so many gems out. Uplifting trance FTW! |

i agree with 2011, maybe its just cuz i cant really remember but 2011 was great, also in the underground scene techno/tech house/deep...def better than 2012 |

| yeah ^ quality wise that year was definitively great. followed by 5 year range. up or down. but quantity for me 2011 still hold true. so much more production. |
