Happy New Year Everyone!
I figured for new year I try something new and break away from my typical mixing style. I wanted to make a mix with multiple tracks but wasn't sure on a few things. I don't really want to do a mega mix with 100 tracks or anything but wished to include more then the usual 20 tracks in a 2 hour set.
Ok. So I know how to use Rekordbox and I know how to set Hot Cues. The only issue I am having is timing my Hot Cue jumps during a set to make it sound good. Not sure if I am setting the at the right locations? For example I use a point for Intro, right before build up and outro. Is this correct 3 Hot cues per track rule?
I know Armin uses Hot Cues or else he wouldn't be able to fit 20-30 tracks either in ASOT. But, at the moment I can't compare mine to his as his sounds flawless but mine when I jump from hot cue 1 intro few minutes in to lets say at break down/build up section I can notice the tempo change and that slight little differential.
Anyone who is really good at this please give me some insight on this.
Thank you in advance. |
