...do I rename a jpg file to mp3 so i can play it in winamp?? I just can't get it...all these people tell me "rename to .mp3" and it just donesnt work
thanks for any help
(yes i did go into windows explorer and renamed the file to .mp3 but it doesnt change the format.) |

ummmm a .jpg tends to be a picture...whereas a .mp3 file is music...that's why it's not working for you. You can't convert a picture into a song...:) I think you need to do more reading on how to use a computer. I was soooooooo bad at it...lol |

alright alright, lets not let somethin as simple as this turn into a flame war plz.
maximus, when you save your file (the window that comes up for you to select your destination) choose ALL FILES and then add the .mp3 at the end, that'll change it.
if not, you can always do it the old fashion way in the command prompt.
c:\>ren whatever.jpg whatever2.mp3
that's the command. |
