Hi folks

has anyone got a quick suggestion or a decent set of DJ Headphones for around £100 - £120.

Just got rid of my 5 year old Sennheiser HD25-1 because they lack so much in the lower end and are really hard to identify certain parts of tracks.

Thanks in adance

yeah, upgrade from HD25's to skullcandy's...

you're doing it wrong. HD25's are the boss. why the hell do you need to identify lower parts of the track? it's the high and mid you use for mixing.

you should be using your eq on the mixer to tweak the sound of each track to make it more prominent. also the level between both tracks is a delicate balance.

basically learn to mix. don't blame the best headphones in the business... they are perfect.

Everyone is different some people like to hear the lows and concentrate on the bass line when mixing. I think mixing the low end in is the hardest part of eqing. Id prefer headphones with a good low end because i use mine for more than just djing. And dont get skullcandys urbanninja is retarded....

Sony, pioneer, allen&heath, etc... I own shure's

Most brands have different models for different price points if cost is an issue. Check amazon for good prices and reviews.

Ive been djing in clubs since i turned 21. Im 29. Minimum 3x a week all residincies. I had 5 residincies at one time back in my college days. And thrse are large crowds like 200-2000 people. Not small bars with 50 ppl. Ive probably done more gigs in my worst year than ull do in ur lifetime. ******

the bassline is the least definable part of a track... why would you use the bass to mix?!

doesn't make sense. call yourself a dj? :nervous:
