Dual Ultra weekend concept in doubt

| while i hate ultra nowadays, its absurd to me this is even an issue. as if businesses and residents cant deal with "gridlock" traffic for one whole week more than the other 51 weeks out of the year?! there is gridlock traffic in miami all the time! |

| I would guess the 1st weekend would get cancelled and Ultra will run during the weekend of the 23rd? |

No, the legislation up for vote tomorrow specifically is trying to cancel the second weekend.
The mayor cites (in a separate public statement) more people on mind altering substances for that weekend as opposed to the spring break drinking crowd on the first weekend.

Not that I care about Ultra, but that will screw things up for the DJs as the better parties are typically Thurs-Sun of the last weekend |

Simple answer shut down WMC if its about the drugs. Of course they won't do that because March will be a huge money void for Miami. They can always just bring back urban beach week for another shootout in South Beach... |
