My newest track is made by tweaking different synths such as Sylenth1 and ES2 in Logic to make a lead-sound well known to the trance genre, but at the same time to add a little originality to the sound and melody. The lead and bass includes custom sounds made in Sylenth1 layered with Nexus and Novation Bass Station. I appreciate feedback so I can make my next track even better! :D

| I would take off the the kick and clap in the beggining and just let the sounds pay until you really get into the track...I think you need a bugger build up before you have that trance part come in at teh 50 second mark.. felt like it didn't climax enough.. nice use of the filter. like the synth you have that comes in .. it's deff different.. good job.. can you do me a favor and return feed on my house track > http://www.tranceaddict.com/forum/s...s=#.UO8atvVmNt0 it's very trancy |

I would save the bassline for a little later in the track. Perhaps start it off with all percs. Your kick also needs to be drastically improved. Right now it's way too hidden within all the synths and bass, and makes the track fell quite flat. Maybe sidechain some things slightly harder to give it a punchier form.
I would say that you also have to work on the compression and limiting. I can hear the track reaching its peak, distorting the sound quite a bit. Cut down on the highs a bit, and bring out the mids.
Keep it up! |

dude.
i've already warned you about leaving bull vague "constructive criticism" and spamming your in everyone's threads. you bump your own thread on a damn near daily basis. don't make me suspend you. do it again and it won't be for a week, it'll be for a month at least, or whenever i feel like unsuspending you.
you're fortunate that i'm in a good mood because just about everyone else has unanimously mentioned that you should be suspended but i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt because you're a noob right now.
say something of substance or don't say it at all, and quit spamming your .

Thanks for the feedback guys! I appreciate that you've been listening to my track. The reason why the kick, clap and bassline starts in the very beginning is because this is a shorter version of the track. I got an "original mix" which is about 6-7 minutes which a longer buildup and outro.
I'm aware that my mixing has to improve, and I need to get better with the compression. This are some of the things I find a little difficult to learn properly, but I'm always improving for each new track :) |

You can place a spectral analyzer on the master track and EQ accordingly. Mixing is a real pain to learn. Took me a loooooooooong while to actually get mediocre at it. I wish you luck! :D |
