Why not use a trancegate?
Anyways, it's a fairly decent hack. The kick definitely needs work or probably just a complete swap for another sample, as well as the snare, which I feel would be better off being a clap. I like the melody, but you're missing a bass. Without bass, there's just no enjoyment within the track. |

Maybe you shouldn't rush things so much. There is no hurry, and better to make one good song then many bad. Try to lay some time on synth engineering and mixing, you will be rewarded. |
