Hey TAers in SoCal,
Recently been liking techno/house tracks lately, and was inspired to produce one =). Haha... Here is the SoundCloud:

Since this forum, and particularly this section of the forum holds a lot techno / techhouse fans, I wanted to share it with you guys. Ironically one of the more 'popular' techno forums around even though the site is for tranceaddicts. LOL
Anyway your input would be appreciated.

I get where you're going with it at least. But it needs to be mastered. The quality is bad. Need to work on the breakdown transitions.
Overall, it has potential. It's a great first draft. |

I definitely think it needs to be mastered some more, this was my first time being part of the process. Thanks for the feedback! Given you said that, I know 'techno' takes more than one listen sometimes to understand it. Give it another listen, and let me know if you have any other pros/cons =).

Ouch, ice cold on that one, David :D
I agree that it has potential but I have to say that the bass is drowning out the kick. The low end is extremely muddy. I also think you could have chosen a better clap/snare. |

Awesome! Never would I have thought Darin Epsilon would comment on this post! Haha. It was actually your set at AVEC that made me want to dig in more to this music. That and my friend always Djing a selection of tech house whenever he spins (Will Silvano). Anyway thanks for the tip.
Yeah I don't know if "I" (amateur) should blame sound on my equipment... but I the bass sounds really good on my Studio Monitor (M-Audio CX-8s)... when I got in the car (Of course that has a JLW6 sub) the bass was kind of overbearing and not as "Wide" as in my monitors... HMM... maybe mastering on monitors take more work.
Anyway time to cook another track, and we (Dylan Prem) will get back to work on this one. |

With the commments above in mind... made another track... hoping to get some more comments... the first track was removed for remastering....
Trying to get this style just right... so hard!
