Hi there,
The 1st tape I ever heard was John Digweed 1993 A & B. This set introduced me to John. The Shakespeare Sister "History" DMC mix was on this mix. The set is on Soundcloud.
My question is: What mix, at the beginning of Side A is it please? It's Wall of Sounds "It's Critical (If you only knew)? It is quality house music and I can't find this particular version that John included at the start of Side A of the set.
Also, Side B, 2nd track from the end..... Vocal goes "She'll put you on the.... I don't wanna play host, play host to her coz I got to set my mind, free-ee-ee-ee"
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

Ok,
So I've narrowed it down to "Solitaire's Pumped up dub or Solitaire's Bass-ic vocal" mixes or the "Powercircle remix"
I know John was playing "Garden of Peace" by Powercircle around 1993 as it was on his legendary Hacienda mix, so it could be this version.
I just need someone to confirm as I want to buy it but there are no versions of the above where I can check.

why don't you ask John?
He is reading [email protected] personally, although he doesn't respond most of the time. If you can manage to keep your email short, but explain that this is really important to you, hopefully he will reply. |

Thanks, Summermadness, I'll give it a go.
I have previously emailed, John, regarding his Essential Mix from 1994 (best ever EM imo) as the version of Sasha's "Magic" is even more elusive than the Scarlett Pimpernell!
I didn't hear from John and considering how busy he must be, him finding time to reply must be a rare thing.
I've contacted VinlySearcher as they have cuts of vinyl with the abiove mentioned versions on, so I've asked them to verify.
