Actually, this is a pretty unfair thing to say, mate.
Thanks to society, we can live relatively comfortable lives (compared to living in the wild), and - thanks to society - we can ceaselessly think of new ways to make our lives more enjoyable. We wouldn't be using the internet without society. You wouldn't be living in a cosy apartment/house without society. You'd DEFINITELY need a bug out bag without society.
If you really think society is inherently stupid, or deficient, I suggest you go to a failed African state of your choice, and try to imagine living under those conditions for your whole life. Money would be useless because there's no guarantee you can go to the supermarket and find any purchasable goods there. Working would be pointless because someone could easily ruin/steal everything you did without a third party to help you keep what's yours. And so on.
Sure, society isn't perfect, but it isn't stupid either.
