I'll raise you (with some changes):
EOTO > EOTO > Liebing > Eco > Rrose > static party > Luciano > ditto > use up a 2012 carryover pdo...

friend of mine ended up there for Marco, had a great time, and he liked the crowd. But what does that mean, fits in there well.
But whatever, I'd go anyway for Luciano, never mind the surroundings or the crowd.
I deal with Pacha and Webster, will be ok.
What are we talking about here:
trading the kids for stuck-up douche-bags with too much dough? |
I heard different. I heard it was a bottle herb crowd who weren't into the music and not many people dancing.
I'm sure it'll be a fun party, I've seen him twice in the last month at better venues so I'm out! |

Ok, NYD is one of those, where was #2 (musta forgotten...)
It's because the compound party was so much fun, would do number 2, but it is $75, outch.
that's what I meant in a way, did get very positive feedback, but the guy is of the bottle type, so.... |
At BPM..... On da beach.
Yea bottle crowds bore me to tears. |

you LIKE that?
I always think that is just the worst sort of rip-off, totally blatant.
Instead of that, how about speeding up the process for everyone.
Seriously, there are a bunch of venues in the city of medium size, where lines of great time-lenght are never an issue:
Beacon Theater is a good example.
Bigger than just about any club or Roseland, and they can get a sold out crowd in in no time.
Why SHOULD that be different at a place just because it's a concert venue rather than club?
No reason, IMO, other than to make money by purposefully making the peon / no-upgrade wait a total PITA.
just my $0.05! |

Break out the oxfords x tweed blazer with elbow patches fellas...
LOL. & close to $100 dollars for general admission on a Sunday, they must not want my money. Also heard he's playing the first of "many" Sunday afternoons at Cipriani for RPM's Cipriani.Sunday Series. Luciano's set & overall vibe @ the compund NYD was so righteous though. |

Can anyone give me any info for this place.. What's with the dress code? Doorman has the right to refuse? How dressy do they want you?
I'll be in town visiting from Toronto and will be seeing my boys the Junkies play the night before at a less demanding venue for dress code.
I don't care if I have to dress up as I usually do up here but just wanna know how strict they are. Like no casual shoes kinda deal?
Are these types of parties at this venue generally worth around the ticket price or is it all cheese? |
