Such a great party last year. Old Miami with palm trees:toocool:

I personally thought this party was bull for several reasons:

First of all the sound wasnt good unless you were like right in front of the stage (Lee Curtiss apparently couldnt find the master volume knob:rolleyes: )

Second: They ran out of bottled water at like 8pm or something and didn't serve cups of water

Third and most importantly: The line up stated that the party went until 4, and there was a separate line up inside of the venue, which included Joris Voorn, Tim Green, and Nic Fanciulli. However, security began barricading the doors at around 10pm, which I found curious, and they also made you rip off your wrist band as you left.

I later found out that this was due to an "exclusive" wolf and lamb party that was inside the venue. And that Joris Voorn left the previous day.

That is the most sheisty move ever, which makes me beg the question did they even book Joris Voorn and these other DJ's? I paid $50 for a ticket, and I felt cheated. Just because of a bunch of douchey scenesters wanted to have a secret party.

For these reasons I will not be going this year.

Will resident advisor be selling tickets to this as well?

Wow, sounds like you had a blast! Lol, jk. No party and no DJs (even Nic Fanciulli and Joris Voorn, as crazy as that is) are worth putting up with any of the you mentioned, especially during WMC with the myriad of (really good) options. If a venue doesn't have good sound, then I'm not interested, and then you add scenester dorks trying to feel important by sabotaging everybody else's fun, yeah I'm really good on that...

Damn, never heard about any of that stuff. I attended a short amount of time, late afternoon until early evening, and had a blast. Top notch tunes and people. Sound was ok, not great. Villa is not a club. Its all about a beautiful outdoor space. I thought the setup was good. I wouldn't attend anything inside. I tried for flying circus, but it's just not designed for that. I do think it's a great place to warm up for the evening. A great alternative to the douche-filled SoBe pool events. Absolutely worth the price now, imo, but you can be sure it will climb fast

Can't think of anything better to do on Sunday evening than chill drink some beers, watch the sun go down and get ready for a night of partying. And ya sobe pool party's are the lame

Oh, I was dressed like a hot dog for this party last year. That alone guaranteed I was having a good time. lol.

Sorry thinking about this kind of irritates me. Get ready for a rant

The venue, villa 221 is amazing, Flying Circus was a Banger.

Last resort however was a flop solely due to the promoter, which is Liason. If you look at the time schedules from last year it clearly states that joris voorn and nic would be playing inside after 12AM, I think Tim Green was billed as well. These are HUGE headliners that just kind of disappeared, and coincidentally the snobby wolf and lamb party was held there instead. Mind you, it was invite only, from what I heard, security was ushering everyone out, and then the "who's who" made their way around with different wrist bands for the snob party.
Do that on your own time, dont make me pay for it.

This all leads me to believe that they didn't even book Joris, nic, or tim. Which is a shiesty ass move.

And here's the kicker! If any of you were in attendance at DEMF this past year, Liason teamed up with another group of fail boats called REACT, and threw quite possible the WORST party I have ever been to in my life that had a cover of $50. This party was Rare Form. This party was such a failure that they had to give most of their partons refunds.

So in conclusion,

there is no way in hell I will ever support anything Liason does. But don't let me rain on your parade though.

See you all in March
