That main stacked synth riff could be chopped up a lot, often having the tail cut out and so on and as such I think would generate more impact. Personally I'd attempt to chop it by hand but I guess you could stick it thru something to do the job for ya.
If you did it right this could be a simple but effective deal. |

I think I got what you were saying. Its almost there but somethings missng right?
I tried to add some other elements e.g.: pad, chord stabs, and a variety of other things and I thought it clashed with the main lead. So that's why nothing else was there.
And on the second break down I think people will get the idea that there's nothing else going to happen besides what they already heard even though I tried to change it up.
I dunno.
Could you elaborate maybe a little more on what you thought the track needed? |
