We could invest hundreds of thousands on Quantum Gravity, Autism, and Mathematics research. Instead we have 'armchair pseudo scientists' aka Social scientists stroking their political agenda publishing mediocre work at best:

It's a fact that blacks commit the majority of crimes in major cities. It's completely unethical to criticize Google's algorithms by selectively learning how to correlate Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Martians (?) with the statistic behind their behavior;; it's a matter of machine learning and data analysis. |

| They're not criticising the system, Winston! It's not that they're armchair pseudo-scientists, it's that you're missing the point entirely. |

I would say her work is rather important. You can't view the world in such black and white terms. She is far from being a pseudo scientist. She is also black which makes you a racist. Perhaps apply your love of science to everyday things like say collecting evidence before saying stupid .
Also, your number in your words "hundreds of thousands" would run an mri machine and this is just running it , 800 000 ish for a whole year. So ya, i doubt anyone is going to create a wormhole to 2001 were Joof never had cancer and was able to perfect trance at the time it was big. |

There has been a surge of anti-intellectual ideas among conservatives in the US, and I suspect this may have influenced him to some extent. According to these right-wing big government fighters, both humanities and social sciences are worthless and undeserving of any financial support in public universities, which in turn leads to animosity towards these disciplines and anything related to them. |

One of the more blatant examples. I am not a fan of complete far left ideologies 100% but man are these "conservatives" dumb and ignorant the majority of the time. |
