This thread hereby serves as official notice to all of the internets and its participant that my production name will either be Dancefloor Poet or Dancefloor Poetry or (Dancefloor Poets when I'm making music w/ DOOMBOT). There are no such artists names in the discogs database at this time.
I want this thread to be the historical record in case I ever need to google it and settle any who had it first disputes down the road. |

naw i'm totally serious. They used to make the supernova II which was about as ubiquitous as the virus and the nord lead in like 2000 and before that the bass station so they have a somewhat legacy in dance music and apparently the new synths are the same old synths + wavetable synthesis but they just make it so damn lame.
I was messing around at the music store and the guy is trying to sell it to me. I joke about the dubstep setting and he says its convenient when you just want to dial in some ready to go patches. And sort of sigh and say, um, were is the brostep setting.
They sort of stole the microkorg format , repackaged their old architecture and added really stupid lights and knobs.
And there is no rack version. Which i can't ing stand with synths these days. |
