I remember seeing this movie when i was a kid and it was awesome but i didn't understand most of it. Two weeks ago i was browzing movies in Zune (Xbox Movie Showcase) and i saw fire in the sky. The most intriguing part was that he hasn't eaten for five days or drank any water and says he was kidnap by aliens. The movie is really good and I think you check it out.

Trailer

Plot

On November 5, 1975 in Snowflake, Arizona, logger Travis Walton (D. B. Sweeney), and his co-workers—Mike Rogers (Robert Patrick), Allan Dallis (Craig Sheffer), David Whitlock (Peter Berg), Greg Hayes (Henry Thomas) and Bobby Cogdill (Bradley Gregg)—head to work in the White Mountains.
Coming home from work, the men come across an unidentified flying object on their drive home. Curious to learn more, Walton gets out of their truck and is struck by a beam of light from the object. Fearing Walton was just killed, the others flee the scene. Rogers decides to go back to the spot to retrieve Walton, but he is nowhere to be found. Making their way back to town to report the incident, the loggers are met with skepticism, as they relate what sounds like a tall tale to Sheriff Blake Davis (Noble Willingham) and Lieutenant Frank Watters (James Garner). They are suspected of foul play despite no apparent motive or knowledge of Walton's whereabouts.
After interviewing the men, Lieutenant Watters realizes there is a lot of tension between Walton and Dallis, leading him to believe this might be a murder investigation. The Lieutenant also discovers a tabloid newspaper in their truck with headlines about aliens, hinting that they used the article to concoct their story. The men are accused of murder and are threatened by Travis's brother Dan Walton (Scott MacDonald). The men are offered a lie detector test and take it. Dallis' test is inconclusive. After the testing is complete, Rogers is outraged to know that the results aren't shared. Five days later, Rogers receives a call from someone claiming to be Walton. He is found at a gas station, alive but naked, dehydrated and incoherent. A Ufologist questions Walton but he is thrown out and Walton is taken to a hospital. Rogers visits Walton while in the emergency room, and blames the whole incident on Walton for getting out of the truck. During a welcome home party, Walton suffers a flashback of the abduction by the extraterrestrials. In his hallucination, Walton wakes up in a cocoon. He attempts to escape but has to deal with a weightless environment. After they discover him wandering around, the aliens drag Walton to an exam room for experimentation. Stripping him to his underwear and covering him with a rubber sheet, which pins him to an examination table, the aliens subject him to an extremely painful examination in which he is forced to endure a probe through his eye.

While interviewing Walton, Lieutenant Watters expresses his doubts about the abduction as merely a hoax. He notes Walton's new found celebrity because of the tabloids' attempts to profit from his tale. The film culminates with a denouement between Walton and Rogers. The closing titles state that in 1993, the loggers were resubmitted to additional polygraph
examinations which they passed, corroborating their innocence.

Sounds like bollocks, to be honest.

Obviously, I can't prove otherwise, but it sounds like bollocks.

"Based on a true story" usually includes a fair amount of bollocks.

So, I'm going to go with "it's bollocks".

yep. alien civilisations that

1) have solved the many and varied problems of space travel, and;
2) haven't destroyed themselves with weapons based on this technology

travel the universe to kidnap homosapien and lodge things in his anus.
perhaps they were confused by his name.

niggers imo.

If I had to choose between beleiving aliens existed or believing they didn't. I feel it would be more convincing they did.

The following should not be taken as a statement of fact

Personal facts-

1. A close encounter experiences as a child
2. The seti online positive confirmation I rebooted my computer over ( http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ )
3. Shooting stars.....
4. Life found on other planets (bacteria and such) in our own solar system
5. A variety of other things I can't comment on.

None the less all the talk of there being 'aliens' liasing with Humanity such as the US government is highly plausible -- however I think there is a lot more too it.

As for fire in the sky, no idea. There are lots of drugs out there and medical conditions that could produce the same effects.

It is impossible to proove this stuff due to plausible deniability.

A lot of very senior people suppor that aliens and UFO's are real.

I have absolutely no evidence to support that, but I would say I am 80-85% in beleif that ET's and UFO's are very real, but there are certain things that don't make sense. For example if you are that technologically superior why not just make yourself invincible. I think that either the technology can't be reproduced or we are very close to their technology level except one difference, timespace continuum use, which I think projects like LHC Cern and the Higgs discovery and other things are bridging that gap.

It doesn't make any sense though. An advanced civilization shouldn't need to abuduct countless humans, or even monitor them, unless there is more too it. Something they know that we don't.

For some reason they seem to be trying to manage and monitor, but this is for a reason.

Much like keeping income tax records.

I only beleive I've encountered three or maybe four types or maximum five types althogh three of them aredifferent types of "grey/whites" this is all stuff that could be non alien in nature though...

If they were real they would have very high tech cloaking capacities that bend light allowing them to appear as humans, their robotics also have the same cloaking technologies and can climb on a cieling like a spider. They also can uncloak for instance their face, and will reveal themselves on certain conditions. (example for fear factor or to let you know wha they really are either for clarity or intimidation) (they can also paralyze people from atleast 10 ft away with no visible energy field)

Also this technology is possessed by non aliens (humans) who may be somehow related to them. (although it could be mystic rather than engineered technology - afterall magic is real too right..?)

None the less you can't take any of this serious. But they arn't trying to kill us, they are trying to control us, for whatever reason.

Of course I can't beleive everything I just typed and you shouldn't either.

Aliens are as real as god, angels and demons,

how real is that?

(in addition to the three very similiar greys (one with a skull ridge crown sorta, the classic pasty grey with almost a radiation like hide, and whites which I don't know what they looklike but their clothing whitesuit allows them to appear like other people, the other type I can confirm is the mantis type, which i beleive is from mars or associated with mars) (another technology they use is "5th dimensional code which is not visible to humans normally although humans can see it if their "special powers that allow themto see both the "locks like ruins to entrap peoples minds" and the 5th dimensional code " are unlocked after being near death or awakened sortof like seeing an aura, they are very fast streaming characters, including 0 and 1 shaped symbols, but they arn't human more like runes than an alphabet which provide information as if provided by an ai"these are used in both hosiptals and correctional facilities to monitor "prisoners" who disrupt their plan - since part of wha they do is control and engineer human society. (chemicals likely in our food and water help them control us)

What is important is the technology we have. What is important is how we create our own freedom.

What is the difference between a police state ruled by aliens or a police state ruled by a human, it is still a police state.

Two of the grey types are embedded in important positions in various roles. Such as correctional facilities and even in hospitals doctors etc.. (note the crown ones are manipulating but not completely evil I woulnd't call them good though, the radiation burned ones seem heartless but not good or evil, the whites seem like tools, the mantis ones actuall seem compasionate and not at all evil, actually more so good in their psyche but very very protective of themselves for some reason I get the sense they don't like being involved in human life, but are currious as if they have some sort of desire to help humanity from oblivion or atleast some individuals who are of interest to them) -- note I think this "5th dimension" cloak may somehow allow them to travel what is to us very great distances by taking a wormhole like shortcut no idea but I think it is more likely than 4D above light speed travel) (Humans are very likely psychic but they only attain this state at extreme levels (when their brain wave states etc.. are at "peaks" until they learn to recognize and control their psychic ability (these same types of state create onset hallucination such as sleep deprivation, starvation, or extreme meditative states with peak deltas/alphas etc.. I would not be suprised if these brain states open up the "psychic interconnections" and allow psychic fluidity in the mind to occur as the mind is unlocked and no longer bound to the physical world - other people selling new age products on line have suggested this also.. well the unlocking psychic capacities part :) http://www.zimbio.com/Al+things+psychic+weird+and+wonderful/articles/Gr2MbuoL3ct/Awakening+Psychic+Abilities+Brain+Waves) also see ( http://4mind4life.com/blog/2008/08/05/delta-brain-waves-slowest-most-confusing-brainwaves/ ) , I'm not sure if all humans are psychic or all, but if the aliens use telepathy and the storie of gene splicing is real perhaps they are interested in the psychic humans more so for some reason perhaps the decendants of the plants their ancestors made??? Who knows, none the less a good story)

ok you can laugh now.

As I said though I'm just shooting , don't think its real.

you have a better chance of seeing an alien in real life than the president at the oval office

This post was only a joke...

I could so write a screen play.
