They may not headline a festival, but I'll bet my left nut that we'll see Daft Punk here before the end of the summer (or by the end of September at the absolute latest).

Betting nuts is srs bsns.

I heard DD tried to get them but it didn't work out so they may play SkyDome

And BTW - we feel Richie playing Toronto on Canada Day Weekend should be a tradition for a long time to come. Lots of other slots to change up every year but one of our BEST exports should be at this event every year!

Just because? He hasn't done anything new in years, why not bring some more fresh and up and coming talent? Or even old schoolers that have not played Toronto before?

What's the deal with DD starting 3 hours late and ending 1 hour earlier this year?? 3 hours of fun in the sun are gone and the party will surely get busy a lot later now :(

Its A FESTIVAL, you go for the sure thing.

For the up and comers, go see them at a club.

If it's a festival you need to bring the same people over and over again? how does that make the audience grow musically if you feed them the same djs all the time?

do you want to see how festivals are done elsewhere? look at Garden Festival in Croatia for example.

Having one of our favourite artists play does not prevent us from filling the other 50 spots with a variety of new and returning talent...

It ends at midnight - same as last year. It ran an hour late on the Snday last year because Afrojack had to be added to the Sunday lineup at the last minute...

Opening time is still being finalized but assume it will be somewhere around 230 or 3pm. Almost nobody comes 12-2 so its pointless to be open. Better to spend the money on a improved entry plan and more staff to process everyone when they all arrive at 4pm!
