Sick mix. The way you worked in "Layer" was great. The "vertigo (Wincent Kunth remix)" was a nice surprise. Next time you want to do a mix hit me up, I might be able to provide you with some promos.

Such a great track. It's probably also the first techno track I really liked back when I heard it in Scuba's RA mix 3 years ago, so it has a bit of sentimental value for me as well.
Wincent Kunth is a sick producer anyways, despite having only released two remixes and one EP. I absolutely love this one -

I haven't put out a 'pure' techno mix in almost a year, so when I recorded something satisfying/interesting today I decided to put it out as part IV of my Cavern series. I guess this is the quickfire style my playing has evolved (devolved?) into over the past year. I haven't recorded much recently since I've had somewhat of an existential crisis with traktor and I've been thinking about starting to play records - I'll finally buy a proper 4channel mixer next month and then I'll see, but after re-doing my library I felt somewhat comfortable again and this mix went over pretty well.
My main goal with this was to provide some varied moods and captivating shifts in texture. The tracks are mostly recent, with a few older one's here and there. I hope I've had some interesting ideas with the mixing, but as always there'll be the odd thing that doesn't work out so well. Anyways, I'll hope you enjoy it! :)
Just saw this, in like flyn! And btw i feel like a cultured ta techno connoisseur since i actually know something like 25 percent of the songs on this tracklist.

I need to play more obscure next time! :p In all seriousness I always try to use more 90's tracks but most of the time I miss the opportunity to fit them in. At least I managed to get a few in here.

It's been a few days.. anyone else given this a listen yet?

Loved it. Great stuff and the track selections were great as well. Nice to hear some familiar tunes for once. I do have one question/comment though, why do you play so little of each track? Ive noticed this is becoming more and more popular but I would personally prefer a little more of each song.

Yeah, you kinda have a poin. I think digital just sort of naturally leads to that way of playing, similiary to back when using three decks was common.

Bump, it's been a week - aaaanyone else?

I found the set enjoyable. Listened to it yesterday at work, planning on giving it another listen now.
Since I literally know about techno I can't give any critique besides I thought alot of the tracks sounded interesting and had a good steady flow.
