Dance competition hosted by Sorcerer (James) upstairs 11:30-12:30:
Object Dancing Battle (staff, poi, hooping, strings, glow sticking, etc.- no gloving). Twelve slots available for first comers, with an alternates list for "no shows" on the night of the contest. Email [email protected] to secure a slot, please include your performance name (if any), your chosen dancing tool, and crew affiliation if any.

GIVE is about coming together as individuals to create a vibe that is like a single unified community - all bumping to the same beat. It isn't about fashion or who knows who or how long they've been doing what they do. It's about everyone coming together, and being able to share and experience life as the same organism.
GIVE events are cultural phenomenons. It is beyond clubs or raves, it is the coming together of people from all electronic dance music interests - in an environment where everyone comes to the event prepared to contribute in their unique way to the event. GIVE events are live human art in motion. DJ's, dancers, artists, lighting designers, music lovers, cool people, vendors, and the venue - come together to GIVE.
Backpack friendly, but do not bring weapons or illegal drugs including but not limited to knives, guns, battle axes, tazer, swords, ninja throwing stars, mace, etc. Just say no to violence and drama.
Please bring your dancing skills, lasers, lights, cool stuff to share, and good vibes. If you have other ideas for unique ways to contribute to this GIVE event - let us know.
Must be prepared to dance and have fun! We welcome all forms of human life, without prejudice as to how weird you are (or aren't). We appreciate differences in appearance, diversity in color, sexual orientation, religious (or lack thereof) beliefs, and dance styles.

This event is multi-genre and the only dubstep might be mixed into Creeper Status set - but very little if any dubstep at this event. Genre's played at this event include trance, tech-house, breaks, funky and progressive house, DnB, electro - pretty much everything.
Proxxy & Lantern will be joining us after playing at WMC, Eikkon is 1/2 of Monsters Under the Bed, etc. |
