I never do spec work. That site is more about design spec work but the same stuff applies. I'll tell you from experience that with all the people out their submitting it's really, really hard and the time spent working on something that will most likely be rejected, could be used on actual paying projects.
Only time I won one of these is when I was in college and it was to design a cover for a local publication, so the talent pool was limited to local applicants instead of thousands of people. Ultimately its up to you. |
