The capacity is about 150-200. As an artist making his NYC debut you can never really be sure what to expect and how much of a following the artist has here. It's extremely risky so I commend the promoters for giving it a chance where many others wouldn't bother and would just keep booking the same surefire talent over and over again. Where is the variety in that?
Aldi you must understand that the organizers are fairly new promoters. Getting venues, especially appropriately sized ones at this stage is not as easy as you think. Better to have him play somewhere, somehow, than not at all :p
I'm sure as they gain a rep and credibility they will be able to move to a larger venue but this venue is by no means a bad choice. Your best option to ensure entry is to buy advanced tickets. |

Or you could come to NYC for the weekend and see J00F next day at Pacha who will play an extended set.

Weekends are tough. I'm a college student on a budget, and hotels are real expensive >< Usually we head back after the event. |

Playing at RISE again? I'll pass this time since he'll be in NY. The RISE crowd was weeiirrdd and that place smelled funky. |
