dude, this sounds really good. the only thing that I would say is to make your build ups a bit more intense than what they are. i'm glad to know i'm not the only person out in Cali who is interested in the newer style Tech Trance/Trance2.0 sound.

I did a remix below, please listen and let me know what you think of it! that track sounds deep! cheers! :)

ps. followed and listened to your tracks! you'll be there soon enough! keep working on it! sounds are there. and showed your new track some love!

thanks a lot man. i love tech trance & i'm pretty much really influenced by Ummet Ozcan.

Pretty cool man. Good mixing and sound design. A little sparse in the mix in some areas but cool track anyway.
Morison
NICE job mate!

How did you come up with this main melody man, know this from somewhere?

Cheers

haha no i just came up with a chord progression and the melody and everything just kinda came together. i can't think of a track with the same progression.. if you know one, link it here so i can listen to it haha.

I've heard this melody schematic many times; nevertheless, it's a good production.

Not sure if I'm a fan of the first drop, as it seems too abrupt and almost anti-climatic (@ 0:58). I would also work on giving that white noise some fullness, it's way too flat. Try adding some other elements in the mix with that drop, because the bass and kick on its own doesn't do the production justice. It needs some sort of background, or a simple reverberated or delayed sound that extends over the drop for a while. From here on, the progression begins to settle nicely into its style. One nit-pick is that I don't really like the fact that I'm hearing that soft uplifter throughout the entire beginning until 1:42, where I don't hear it until the transition into the break. Speaking of the break, it's fantastic. As I said before, I've heard a similar progression a few times before, but I still loved the way you drafted the break.

The build-up into the main drop is good, and gives off a very nice "hands-up" feel, however, once again, I didn't really like how it dropped. There was nothing at all that wowed me in the drop. Perhaps it was the driving lead playing a rolling note progression, not quite sure, but you definitely could have done more with this drop. The transition out was also well done, and the third drop at around 5:49 was good. Usually, producers get lazy around the outro and leave many missing holes, but you definitely finished this one off well.

Last thing, I would work on your EQ and mixing. It almost seems like the sound is slightly muffled, and there isn't enough dynamic drive. Try lowering the mids just a touch and increase the highs and deep lows. Perhaps sidechain things just a bit more. At this point, you should be creating that illusion of a more dynamic mix.

Overall, it's a great production, but there are things to work on, as with everything. Looking forward to the next one! :)

i know the chord progression is simple, but i took something simple, and made it beautiful.. so i'm quite proud of it. my eq'ing and mixing is definitely not PERFECT yet, but i'm getting there. good feedback, although some things you said were merely regarding taste, still good feedback. this is the kind of feedback i like to hear.

It was beautiful before, but you just put your own spin on it, which is the essence and definition of music, especially electronic dance music. 100% of all feedback is personal taste. It all depends on how you use it ;)
