I've heard Bon Voyage from Sander Kleinenbergs 2000 Impulz set and love it.. Just bought Dave Seaman's GU016 in CapeTown and heard Zerotonine and it rules!..

Does anybody have any info on this guy?.. like any mix CDs he has put out or Live Sets of his???

thanks.

As far as I know he's a techno artist like The Prodigy. I have one of his albums, Saturday Teenage Kick. One of his songs, Dealing With the Roster was featured in the movie Blade and is on the soundtrack. I know Sasha also uses one of his songs on GU13.
breakdown
they're a group..

junkie xl used to be a group together with rude boy.
But they split up last year (differences about the music)
So junkie xl (is tom holkenberg) is going to produce more house traccks in all kinds (techno/progressive) he has also done a track with tiesto ( it is finished but haven't heard it yet) the track is about 14 minutes long :D

At the moment Junkie XL isn't a group anymore... at the moment Tom Holkenborg(the producer)=Junkie XL. His first album was with a band and the album was called "Saturday Teenage Kick", there were a lotof guitars in it and there was a rapper on it. The second album was "Big Sounds Of The Drags", the single "zerotonine" is also on this album. This album sounded more like Fat Boy Slim/Prodigy. At the moment he's working on his third album, which will have more progressive-influences!!! He is also working on a track together with DJ TIESTO!!! So expect a lot from this Junkie... for more info go 2 www.junkiexl.com

I was watching Gatecrasher live on Rapture the other night and had heard the name Junkie XL before but never heard their/his stuff, but he's frickin mental, he was doin a live PA and he played a blinding set, and you could see he was enjoying himself as much as crowd. Any suggestions of tracks of his to get?

Peace

I saw Junkie XL live once. Back then it was still a group, producing different kinds of music, but all their styles where hard and rough. Most of the music they produced was like the Prodigy, only harder.

On stage there where this Dj, a singer (a big black guy who screamed and jumped around all the time... I thought he was on E or something because they played like 1 hour and he was jumping like a madman all this time) and one other person. Their performance wasn't to good back then (it was 3 years ago I think) but some people told me Junkie XL rocked on Ultra, so the group falling apart must've been a good thing.
