Trancewave: don't worry, your favourite residents will still be playing as well. I spoke with Peter the Greek last night and he told me he is not leaving. He'll be taking some time off which was planned long before I accepted the offer to play at the club. The last thing I want to do is step on anyone's toes and I made this very clear to both the resident DJs and the promoters before appearing behind the decks.

wow...hehe, nice to see you post here Mark :) Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see you at VIVA, but it's way too far for me :( , hopefully I'll get a ride up there sometime.
And personally, I prefer your music format at Guv, simply cuz I love the way you move from one genre to another, and warm up the crowd(especially when there's a guest DJ). Anywho...welcome to the TA forums :) I hope you enjoy your stay and come back here :D
Oh, and one question...lol, even though I doubt you will tell me since it was long ago, but I'm dying to know what this track is. You dropped it on June 15th when Armin van Buuren was here...the track starts off with like thunder and rain effects, for about a minute or so, and then moves on into a really nice groovey beat...hehe |

Sorry, I can't remember that far back. I use the thunder and rain (usually during or after a heavy storm) effect from time to time as an intro to various tracks. In other words, it wasn't part of the song you're looking for. |

| hay mark i was at your opening night last week at Viva... it was good... But my buddy and i think that the Trance you played wasn't as Uplifting and fast enough... Coz from what we can see.. alot of regular's at Viva like my friend and i and other's that we talk to after that night, left early because the beat's were too slow and not so uplifting to what viva used to offer... don't get me wrong i'm a big fan of yours at GUV for the longest time... this is just Acomment that we want to express to you... :tongue2 :tongue2 |

Wicked to have you up at Viva...I have only been there twice, but it's now my favourite club in T.O. I hope you stick to your word, because there are a lot of people who are expecting huge things from Viva. Bring us the trance we love, and Viva will become TrancEaddict heaven!!!
The best night I have ever seen you spin was at GUV with Ferry Corsten. After his set, you were playing an Armin Van Buuren remix and he started going nuts and you passed him the earphones....Then for the rest of the night, you two went side by side....What a ing amazing treat....I was standing on the catwalk, right beside you two with my friend tatgirl, and we couldn't believe it.........That was my best party memory ever!!!!!
I hope you bring some of these types of parties to VIVA.

I found an all new respect for Mark after reading an article in the Toronto Sun on him. He balances his Family, and career perfectly with no drugs !! Welcome to Trance Addict!.
And reading that story sober_24_7 just posted sound wicked!! wish I had of been there to see that. I have seen Mark on a number of occasions and always brings a smile to my face.
