i was huge into pvd until 'in between' and seeing him at pier 54. fell off with following him, but evolution was okay and his set thanksgiving at Pacha was awesome. not to mention he was actually enjoying himself.

anyhow, caught a few vonyc sessions, and they were pretty enjoyable: plays a nice variety of styles at times and supports a good amount of lesser known producers. i can't help but feel he's found his passion for music again or something like that

on a somewhat related note, here's his track with kyau & albert with their vocals that i actually enjoy

hey wassssuppp Ottovani!

yeah. that voice goes well for drops. like all you want is to a hear a nice thick drop.

that being said. that was a half ass job between that bassline and kick. i mean this is pvd (king of kicks and spikes) and KnA (very well known for some thick basslines with sidechain kicks) ... i felt like that kick was annoying then at 18 sec it got somewhat better. at 48 seconds. typical KnA (which is a good thing). at 58 you can hear pvd spikes helping this. 1:18 i feel it loosing me. at 1:40 chaos. at 1:43 typical sound. at this point it could be anyone. at 1:57 here come that off beet kick? anyways anoying for sure. it would have been better if they kept it more cleaner and simpler.

aldi out!

I think his music sucks now. I gave listen to his Evolution album and it was really disappointing.
colibri
surreal, from the first second to very last (without new
vacation homes in mind or a new car), the way it should
b with intellect, eloquence and beauty (and the way 99%
of live sets r NOT by him or most in every genre and time)

This, i used to be a big fan from late 90's

I miss the central park shenanigans. I think 2004? was the most memorable with the rain and everything.

Roxy 2003, one of the most epic sets....
