Heh i have no interest in finish that at all, just something that took a min to do to demonstrate that the vsti is decent.

Is the pattern for that kick bass,

kick x---x---x---
bass --x---x---x

or is the bass behind what is above?

Do you use attack on the envelopes?

Cheers

Well there are 2 wayz, to make that type of bass.
1.Take a reversed kick distort it. the kick should be 1,5,9,13... the bass would be 2,6,10,14
2. Logics ES2 using attack, envelopes, and lfo's assigned to each envelope. there are 3 built in envelopes. So its really easy to make your own sound. You can assign mad lfo's in the ES2. To me its the best soft synth ever. The Sounds are just as powerfull as a virus. plus you can change like 30 different wavforms in each envelope. the kick the same as above, the bass would be 3,7,11,15.

Heres a little demo of a song im working on using the ES2. I think it sounds just as good as a hardware synth. The bass and the synths are from ES2. Perc & and kick are one shots from a Sample CD.

Cheers, i thought thats how you did it, i just thought you might have to play the bass a bit ahead of itself to acount for the attack. Can you use ES2 as a VST plugin does nebody know?
xfer
No you can't, i wish you could but its Logic's own soft synth technology.

if you're having trouble with cubase stay the hell away from logic... its the most illogical program ever created (no pun intended). Plus it's gone mac only, so no more updates. But the ES2 is a very promising synth... i wish it was a vst or something.

haha.. to hard for you to figure out russo.. if you don't have a brain don't plan on using logic. Every update they have made for logic has been release for PC. Including the new 5.3 wich was supposed to be for mac only, logic for PC won't die trust me on that

Well i use sound diver and thats fairly un-user friendly, why are logic products like that? Fuk knows, i want a macintosh!

First of all, whether or not I know how to use logic is irrelevant to the fact that it is illogical.

Cubase is nice and simple... it's a complex program if you want it to be, but everything is laid out simply and you can look at a menu and figure out right away what the menu is for.

But logic... did they deliberately make it like that? Should someone designing a piece of software make it hard on purpose, when there is no need to? I'm not saying logic is a bad program... it's very good, but it's still illogical.

And I wouldn't count on your updates lasting for long. If you were smart enough to realize Apple's strategy you wouldn't have posted that.

Not a biggie for me im buying a mac. Logic is what i will be using. Sorry that you feel that way about logic, to me it has some of the best features in any sequencer i have used. I have the manual, not that hard to figure logic out. I can help with any questions you have about it, just hit me up i will be glad to help.
