I've just started producing a few months ago and would love to get some feedback as well as some tips you think I may need to work on. Hope you enjoy my original mixes!

Why does this last 5 minutes, there is hardly anything going on.

I agree that I do need to add more elements to it. Just started producing a few months ago and seeing where I can build

As of now, there is a lot to be said, but that's because you've just started. So as of now, you're doing pretty good for the time you've been producing :)

I'd say you need to make it more complex, try to get something to change every 8 bars/do something to spice the song up like take the kick out from measures 7-8, and add a clap+synth at 9, then from 15-16 you take the kick out again and at 17 you add something new, etc.

Also, if you're making songs for djing, you should try to have an intro/outro at the beginning/end of the song for 16-32 bars with a kick so that the dj can bring in/out the song.

There's also layering to get the sounds to sound bigger if that's what you want.

But all of this comes with time and like I said earlier, you're doing good so keep it up :)
