marco bailey is probably the only decently interesting booking on the event, and i stopped listening to him years ago, but i gotta give them props for at least trying.

You're right. However, Bailey still can still play good sets once in a while. If he's not focusing on only playing generic techno, he can be interesting.

just announced...

UMMET OZCAN @ RUSH 2013 - SATURDAY JUNE 22 2013

FunKenLouis
4000 people ? ... 11,000 ?

Do you guys have any idea how many people were at Bell Center the last time with

AVICII + AXWELL + GARETH EMERY + DASH BERLIN ?

2 of the biggest commercial house djs + 2 of the biggest trance acts ....

Keep your lineup, but do it in a venue that holds 2000 people @ 40$ a head max

1000 in each room maximum

You might breakeven, but at least you wont overspend on security / staff / sound / lights / venue

And when people leave the event, they will keep in mind that it was 90% full in a 2000 people space ... instead of 80% empty in a 11k capacity room

... the production and stage @ RUSH 2013 will be massive apparently.

1) Put less money on production
2) Take a smaller venue

Result ?

1) you will make your tickets cheaper ... which means you will sell more of them
2) there's gonna be a better vibe and people will come back to the next one

More artists to be confirmed...

KrinKer
ok

here's the thing

Unless u book tiesto, Guetta, Mau5 .... don't expect 10k people

I don'T even think Sasha, Digweed, Cox and Van buuren would do it in all honesty

True and his sound would work well in a big room.

Ummet Ozcan is a deace booking as well, but they are going to need a HUGE booking to fill a 11,000 capacity venue.
