| I'll throw my 2 cents in...armin is what got me into trance and I thank him for that, but as time went on and he grew bigger and bigger his sound changed...he still has talent cause he has moments in his sets where hes just going at it but then the cheese kicks in and I find myself standing around. I would love to see an armin and markus b2b cause I'm sure markus would make him step his game up. And I hate how his podcasts are only 20 minutes when other djs are putting out 1 or 2 hour podcasts |

Exactly, I discovered ASOT randomly when I was in college in 2003. Armin has his moments but it's less often than it should be. His whole "prisoner of your style" argument is stupid too. I mean how can someone change their style so drastically so fast and it just so happens to be the SHM/Avicci/Skrillex style which is the most popular style right now and for the past 3 years.
If you think that that is a pure coincidence, I have some magic oil that will make your desired body part larger for the low price of $19.99, I'll even throw in a free bottle if you call in now. Open your eyes, your love for Armin has blinded you, I was like you once not long ago. Now I know better. |

This a thread for AVB @ Story, let's keep it on that.
On that note, I'm stoked for this show. ASOT 2012 is sublime, and his 600 sets have rocked. I'm hoping he plays 4 hours, and if so, it'll be the best concert since NYE.
If you're not into Armin anymore, that's your deal, but why say it here? I'm into Armin more now that I was 10 years ago. It doesn't bother me that world's best DJ wants to book a nice gig. Like MSG, he gets to choose his venue, although I'd rather see him play at more large crowd-friendly venues, like a solo set at EDC. If Story wants $175 for a male ticket, I'll pay it because Armin's set is going to rock, and this is the best way to close out WMC.
As for my fellow TAs boasting about scalping their tickets, being a middleman selling goods has been a way to make money for millennium. I personally find it low class to scalp these tickets, like a drug dealer making money off his friends.
I can't wait for Miami and this show, and hope to see people there who love Armin's music as much as I do. |

No chance in hell those guys are getting my money with the way they treat the trance scene. |

Still is and you can use a promo code to knock off $5 which makes the you fee go away. The only way I will see Armin now is during an Armin Only when he plays a long ass set. That way he can get all the electro vomit out of the way like Markus does at the beginning of his marathons. |
