| I spent the '90s as a teen, so of course it was an awesome decade for yours truly. Young enough to still vibe on Ninja Turtles, but old enough to appreciate Fight Club. |

| I was pre-pubescent during the '90s, but based on my memories the decade is strongly defined by pre-millenial futurism that particularly characterised the second half of the era: the dawn of the Internet, hackers, CGI, the Matrix, the new birth of high-octane adult-oriented videogames like Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid and Wipeout that were resplendent with poorly-rendered 3D and pulsating techno soundtracks, glowsticks, cyber kids, Mitsubishis, Gatecrasher mixes in the supermarket, techno as far as the eye could see. |

| Was that period were I practiced a lot. I listened to everything but the southern California punk thing was dear to me. Strung out is still my favorite band. I was a session player, skipped a lot of school to record and it culminated in my brother ing up a potential contract with fat records. He ed off to university after a fight and that was t. Then I burnt out and went to raves for a year or 2 and then the 90s was over. First time I tried drugs was 19 at rave. E before pot. I was pretty ing anal those years were I had to practice 8 hours a day. Even during vacations , I found a way to do those hours one way or another. |

Oh man i used to collect these too! I found some in a box a few years ago and gave them to one of my nephews who loves marvel. I'm pretty sure his mum tossed them out. What a ****.
also the 90's for me is-
neon spandex, mushroom haircuts, guns and roses, INXS, Midnight Oil, Beastie Boys, Salt and Pepa, Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy and like Encino Man Dr. Martens boots, Hackers, smoking lots of weed and skateboarding.. and then being a try hard in high school, failing, going back to smoking weed and skateboarding :stongue: |

Teenage angst. It was a crap decade for me, full of insecurities and loneliness. I was always nose-deep in my books and didn't really have many friends. High School was a experience and the kids were s.
I did enjoy weekends at my beloved late Grandma's house and watching cartoons and TV shows with my cousins.
Can't think of anything else, it was so long ago, it's a blue. |

I agree. I had way more fun in the 00's than the 90's. I was a pretty square, anti-drug teenager then, but for some reason, I get way more nostalgic whenever I think back on the 90's. It still had its share of recessions, booms and busts, and military skirmishes, but I felt there was a more general sense of optimism and hope that the new millennium was going to bring about more better and wonderful things to society, with the exception of the Y2K scare. Never would have thought it would have turned out like this.
Oh and baggy pants. I in' loved my baggy jeans and baggy cargo pants. Seeing all these kids nowadays wearing skinny jeans, esp the fat ones who have no business wearing those has been a huge wtf to me in these times. :wtf: |

The 90s was very much about music for me. I spent pretty much the entire decade DJing, working sideline jobs in the day whenever things got a bit slow. Early 90s was spent in the clubs and at afterhours, playing alternative/industrial/new wave and the like. I discovered the rave scene in the mid-90s, found work at a popular local record store and ran with it from there. All this culminated in my playing the morning slot on a white sand beach in Southeast Asia on Jan 1, 2000 - was a fitting way to close out the decade and ring in the new millenium.
All-in-all, it felt like a pretty carefree and adventurous time in my life, and in the world in general - looking back, starting with all the Y2K fears, it seems very easy to identify the transition to more guarded times that the turn of the century seemed to herald. |

Men wearing skinny jeans is just absurd. But what's even worse is this :
WTF is this? By far the most hideous and ridiculous trend in the history of the world. Goat herders have a better sense of style. |

Most of my cargo shorts are pretty similar to those the dude on the right is wearing, but not as baggy... except I don't wear them halfway down my ass, with my undies pulled right up, because I'm not a retard. like that makes me LOL so hard :stongue: |

It's completely ridiculous. I can't believe this stupid trend caught on and hasn't died a horrible death yet. How do they even stay up being pulled down that low? I've seen some retards wearing pants pulled down to their ankles. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?! >.< |
