I firmly believe misanthropy/misogyny is a clear sign of poor social skills, and it's just a projection of the hated person.
Schopenhauer, for example, thought everyone should worship him because of how awesome he was. He was by all accounts extremely unpleasant, reason why he grew up to become a bitter old man who hated everything, everyone, and everyall, if only this last word existed. Nietzsche, who was terrible with women, would often lambaste everything female severely... no wonder he couldn't bonk the one woman he loved (other than his - eeeww! - sister). I've yet to find someone who has great social skills, knows how to deal with people (and/or specifically the other sex), and hates them.
Thankfully, professional help can easily "fix" this. |

I like how you're able to put it in fewer words, and I guess it sounds cliché just because it's quoted all too often for being true :p
Anyway, Nother83, get a therapist or pay more attention to him/her if you've already got one. People don't suck. |

by all accounts i would say we are kinda bastards of a species. It is cliche because people say it in reference to the people they deal with. But humanity as a whole despite some redeeming qualities would probably be considered a bag of suck if other species could talk.
If you want to get less vague, Carl louis would not be wrong in saying most people are slow. Granted he is the exception so i would say he is rather fast. Einstein was rather smart. Or i suppose he could say most people are idiots and that would also be true. There are people that are better in enough categories to make the case that most people are not very good but then you would probably only focus on those few categories you think are important. |
