I wish they would have announced this a bit earlier, but since the venue was in question they had to wait. I have a flight out of Ibiza on the 12th, would have spent a few days in Amsterdam then finished up over here.

Awesome, just bought mine too. :)

I wish I had known you guys were going last year, I would've figured out a way to go. As for the $1000 flight, I figure not going to EZ, Ultra, and any EDC will make up for that.

I think I'm going to head over early first. I might hit up Germany first, hang out there a couple days, then head up to Amsterdam for the festival and to explore the country, then possibly go down to France and visit with a friend I have there before heading back home. I really want to make the most of this trip while I'm out there, haven't been to Europe in over a decade.

i've never been to europe period and planned on going this summer. why don't we add ibiza to the mix and call it a party?

I'm pretty sure I'll be stuck at the Classic stage that whole day lol. May end up being my only opportunity to see most of those guys.

So anyone else end up going to this thing? On day one, everyone else seemed to be having more fun than me, but the venue completely ruined what was some great music the DJs were playing and I just could not take more than 4 hours of it. I think the change of venue just really screwed this thing. There were 2 outdoor uncovered dance floors separated by an indoor bar area with some seating. Uncovered, on a Dutch beach, yeah it was ing freezing and wet. And not chairs or couches, just some wood floors to sit on.

The venue is wayyy too small for 2 stages and the number of people there, there was massive sound bleeding between the stages, they had the sound system inside playing the same thing as the main stage, but it was out of phase with the sound coming from the stage because they neglected to put a delay in, so any music in the indoor area just sounded like a crap train wreck. On the side by the second stage, it was even worse because it added that sound as well and it was just pure noise. Really seems like the sound was setup by amateurs or in too much of a hurry to do it right.

There was no kind of chill area inside the venue without a ton of noise, if you wanted some quiet you had to leave and go sit on the beach, and there was nowhere at all to sit down and listen to the second stage. really one of the worst 2 stage setups i have ever seen in my life, if not the worst. I've been to 10 or 20 dollar underground parties that did a much better job. very unprofessional. i'm going to the second day and hopefully they will do something about it
Ronald Ravin'
Well I'm happy to say the second day is going much better, they added some damping to deal with the sound problems and the weather is much nicer. First time seeing most of these djs so it should be a good night. Also unless my ears are deceiving me I think they fixed the phase problem inside also, so great job fixing things up, that is professionalism :) everyone makes mistakes, the important part is how you react to them
