Did you ever register the product with NI?
Because that is required if you have a legit copy.
You should have an online account, and it should contain all your serial numbers. |

If your account is online, then you should have valid serial numbers there as well.
If your problem is that you don't have the discs, uou can always request new installation discs. |

If he wants to upgrade, then the K5 discs really aren't necessary as the Komplete 9 upgrade box will include discs for everything (excluding the older products in Komplete 5, of course). |

Hold on a sec, so basically you get a full version of komplete 9 wen you get the upgrade?
When i register in the service center, it says serial not compatible. I got complete 5 when it was a special a deal, maybe thats why. |

Yes, it comes in a box with 10 DVDs (standard version) or an HD (Ultimate version).

It shouldn't matter if it was a special deal - a valid serial number is a valid serial number as far as NI is concerned. Log into your account and see if it is registered. If not, you'll need to sort that out with NI before you buy/install Komplete 9, because the Service Center won't let you authorize the Komplete 9 upgrade if there is no previously authorized full version of Komplete detected. |

| Are you sure that the "special deal" you purchased was a full version of Komplete 5 and not an upgrade? |
