Stupid thing changes my start page!!

Since the past two days something(probably a program?) has been changing my home page to some pop-advert! No matter how many times i change it back,it keeps changing again...my nerves!
Can anyone help? What could be the prob? |

| umm its prolly a program that installed itself when you misclicked a pop up. i say go into your Control Panel>Add/Delete Programs thing and look for a program you dont recognize and uninstall...late| |

| you could have accidentally downloaded spyware. go download "adaware"... i believe the site is www.lavasoft-usa.com (or just search for adaware)... its free, and i use it about once a month, and it always finds new cookie spyware things, or whatever else. if you run it, im betting itll find a lot. |

aye indeed. and if u cant find it here then do a search at www.download.com thats where i got mine. It removed 9 piece of spyware for me :\ |
