Venue with a subpar soundsystem, the perfect place to host someone who hasn't played in the city in over 10 years. :p

I could understand that more if he never played in North America.

But he's done other club gigs in North America since then, which tells me that it was worthwhile enough for other promoters to make it happen. So the fact that he has not played here, seems puzzling / strange.

I'm not sure about other NA gigs (probably more commercial, bottle service clubs?) but I know he charges way more than he should. He's also not as popular here as he is in EU but he charges the same fee and more. No promoter wants to lose money or hope to break even.

Man I miss the days of promoters with questionable income sources throwing parties and bringing in quality DJs knowing they'll lose money just for the fun of it.
