Because the ones on the dance floor have arm pits that resemble a young Samuel L Jackson.

I'm not spending. I just don't see why you guys are arguing about clubs that take risks bringing talent that the people want trying to make a little money. My drinks are paid for.

Oh la la. Can I be your friend?

China has driven you to become a bottle service guy. Step back, take some perspective on this. It's a slippery slope to hell :D

China has made me a brutal capitalist that does not have to pay for anything.:p They have it right here. Canada has too many safety nets that lead to mediocrity.

It Depends, like your grandma's undies.

I'm going to start keeping track of how often you flip flop on whether you love China or Quebec more.

I hope so, my stance on bottle service has always been:

go to a club for the dance floor
go to a restaurant for a table.

The problem is that bottle service therefore limits that ability to be able to sit down and relax with your friends to all but those willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for the privilege (the privilege of...a seat).

...and not having cracked out kids near you. I used to be one of them, don't get me wrong...i just have no patience for mingling with them.

a few months ago...Canada.

Not anymore. China is awesome. I could not live in Beijing. Shenzhen is a "special economic zone". God bless it. Think Miami Vice, but with hairier pussies.

Toronto is a copycat city, we don't come up with great ideas ourselves, we wait for other more important / influential cities than us to think of things and then we follow suit ;) so if it's happening elsewhere it will eventually trickle down to us :p

I heard Miami was charging different rates for events this WMC based on gender. Like $75/women, $150/men, and the men sold out immediately. Other events for men were $250 even.

I hope THAT nonsense doesn't start making the rounds across N. America.....
