The mixing is done well thats for sure, sounds very crisp. Most of your tracks do so no issues there. Just try and finish them! i know its tough to work on only one track at a time so what i do and i figure alot of producers do as well is work on 2 or 3 track at the same time but no more then that. And dont move on to anything else before finishing them.
I like this track, cool synths. I think it just needs more going on.. maybe some fx and more hi hats/percussion, just little things like that which will make the track more interesting. |

hope ya like the update. gotta work on the ending but overall i'm pretty happy with it
as far as the extra percussion, i feel like the mix is filled up pretty well without adding clutter. do you just mean variations in the percussion? that can be accomplished and would be a good idea, but i don't think another layer, per se, would work. some fine tuning and edits of the percussion in certain areas to enhance the phrasing?
on not finishing stuff: i tend to move on pretty quickly to new projects because i don't get the result i want, but also because i'm searching for a style to call my own that i feel comfortable with. this deeper, techy side of house is where i want to call home though.
edit: I have drifted far away from the original version. gonna go back and open that project file up and figure out a way to arrange this bitch |
