Ok, so how about for the next mix, you try something new. Make it awful. Offensive to the ears, that sort of thing. Shoddy mixing, levels all wrong, maybe get an MC to talk all over it.
I'm just running out of ways to speak highly of your mixes. You deliver every time. |

Thanks. If you dig the first track then you should hear the other tracks off Joey Fehrenbach's Losing You EP (if you haven't already), I recommend it highly.

Thank you Sushi. Guess I'm quite proud of the fact that this mix series has remained consistent and retained a distinctive sound through the years, hopefully never skimping on quality or making needless changes to the formula.
Planning on keeping it going for a while yet. Maybe actually getting it on the radio somewhere. Any ideas, let me know!

I hadn't actually, but it sounds intriguing. I'll take a look tonight and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the suggestion, I've got a massive back catalogue now, could do with somewhere to keep it all neat and together. |

It's funny, your original Violet Crown Sessions were one of the main influences for these series. Loved the distinct unique atmosphere and uncompromising attention to quality. There were so many tracks I heard for the first time through those sets, loved them all.
Pleased to hear you're back on the scene, I'll take a listen to your new mixes on Soundcloud (and suggest everyone else does too!).
Looking forward to your thoughts man. |
